Mercer’s research shows organizations that lead with empathy are more energizing to work for. Empathetic organizations are tuned into the experiences of their workforce and continuously improve them — simplifying and digitizing repetitive tasks while increasing the meaningful moments that employees crave. They are bravely and radically redesigning their people processes, work operations and HR design to deliver what employees and colleagues truly want out of work.
Im Odgers Berndtson Artikel An unprecedented crisis calls for a new leadership playbook zu lesen:
A human crisis at its very core, the COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the power of empathy in a way previously unseen.
Und BCG schreibt hierzu in People Priorities For the New Normal u.a.:
Empathy and adaptiveness must be at the core of future leaders’ capabilities, requiring three elements:
- The head is required for envisioning the future and the focused priorities required to succeed.
- The heart is needed to inspire and empower employees.
- The hands are needed to ensure innovative and agile-execution capabilities.
Lead with empathy and direction. Connecting with employees will take authentic, humanity-driven leadership.
And, critically, organizations will succeed by taking a holistic view of employees’ health, wealth and careers, and by energizing the employee experience.
